**PARENTS Reminders** 

1) New Parents, ask questions, did you know we have a Troop Parent Guide? >>NEW PARENT INFO HERE<< 

2) If you would like to teach a particular merit badge or rank requirement during a meeting, let me know so that we get it on the schedule during our PLC meetings.  Any help is greatly appreciated as we prepare the boys for life!

3) Help your scout out by looking over requirements in his book and ensuring he is prepared to get them complete. Erik Falkenhagen is our advancement chair and can help with any questions you might have.

Cyber Chip Zoom Meeting

We have a scout meeting tomorrow via Zoom, Tuesday, Apr 7, at 7:00 PM.

Scouts will be earning their Cyber Chip during this meeting.  

Zoom info will be emailed.

Camp Woodruff BSA Summer Camp

Looking for all our scouts to join the Troop on this awesome adventure!

Estimated cost is $430 for a week of fun!

What Scouts Should Bring to Camp

  • Complete Scout field uniform - including shirt, shorts, belt, socks, and t-shirts
  • Activity Uniform - Scout shorts and your favorite Scout t-shirts
  • Medical form and insurance information signed by a parent or guardian
  • All permission forms - such as Whitewater, etc.
  • Extra clothing - socks, underwear, closed-toed shoes, etc.
  • Jacket or sweater
  • Raingear - Scouts still have fun in the rain
  • Sleeping bag or other bedding
  • Swim suit
  • Soap, comb, toothbrush, toothpaste, towels (bring extra!), and other personal items
  • Sunblock and insect repellant
  • Scout Handbook, Merit Badge Books, pens, pencils, and notebooks
  • Camera, compass, flashlight, and other camping items
  • Day pack or small tote bag
  • Money for crafts, snacks, at the Trading Post (about $70 is the average amount)
  • Personal footlocker or Troop lockbox to secure valuables (optional) Usually can find them at walmart.

MANATEE ADVENTURE DURING WINTER BREAK

Chassahowitzka River Campground

Swim with manatees! >>SIGN UP<<

*WE CURRENTLY HAVE 20 SPOTS AND NEED TO KNOW IF WE SHOULD RESERVE MORE*

On Saturday we will head to Chassahowitzka River Campground and on Sunday kayak and paddleboard on the river.

Then Monday do the Swim with the Manatee Tour with River Ventures on the Crystal River. 

Cost should be around $130 per person.  (Plus incidental spending money for 2 lunches on the road.)
